Ronald F. Aldridge, 59, of Elyria, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, at Specialty Hospital of Lorain after a lengthy illness. Born in Brownsville, Pa., he had lived in Elyria since 1976, moving from Lorain. Mr. Aldridge was employed as a painter by U.S.G. Interiors, Inc. in Westlake for 29 years. He enjoyed antique cars, car shows and working on cars.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Teresa (nee Lahiff); a daughter, Tracie Krasienko of Elyria; sons Ronald Robert and Douglas Franklin Aldridge, both of Brownsville, and Rick Aldridge of Elyria; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and an aunt and uncle. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ozella Aldridge.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. today at Bauer-Laubenthal Funeral Home, Chestnut Ridge Road at state Route 57, Elyria. A memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 702 Erie St., Grafton. The Rev. John Seabold, pastor, is the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Northeast Ohio Affiliate Inc., 1689 E. 115th St., Cleveland, OH 44106-3988.
