REV. ROGER WARNER MORSE; 74 of Grand Harbour, Grand Manan passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital on Wednesday evening December 29th, 2004. He leaves to morn his wife Sonia, two daughters, Sara (Ben) Nest, Kennebunk, Maine, Johanna Johnson, Oceanside, Calf., one son Gregory (Carol) Morse, Elliott, Maine, and five Grand Children. He was the pastor at the Advent Christian Church, Woodwards Cove for the past fifteen years, he also was a meat cutter by trade and spent a number of years in the meat business. He attended and graduated from the Essex Agricultural College, Middleton, Mass., and later attended the Gordon Divinity College, Hamilton, Mass. He served on the Grand Manan Ministerial Society, the Board of Directors of the Grand Manan Action Ministries, the G. M. Alzheimer Society, and was a very community spirted person and devoted himself to helping those people who needed help, he harvested hundreds of cords of wood , cut, split and delivered to those who needed fire wood. The family will receive friends and relatives at Ells Funeral Home on Sunday, January 2nd, at 2-4 PM, 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from the Advent Christian Church, Woodwards Cove, Grand Manan, N.B. on Monday, January 3rd, 2005 at 1:30 PM, with interment to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Hill Road, Grand Manan, N.B. The family are requesting donations to Action Ministries, to help the more unfortunate. Funeral arrangements in care of ELLS FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Route #776, Grand Manan, N.B. E5G 1G2.
