He was a retired school teacher of South Conway County School District in Morrilton and was retired from Arkansas Kraft. James was a member of Searcy Faith Assembly of God Hwy. 36.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Johnson Anderson; one son, Will Anderson and wife, Mandy of Cordova, Tenn.; two daughters, Laura Doan and husband, Paul of Searcy and Melissa Wintz and husband, Rodney of Beebe; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; Mother, Dorothy Anderson of Batesville; two brothers, Stephen Anderson of Batesville and David Anderson of Augusta.
James is preceded in death by his Father, James V. Anderson, Sr.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Westbrook Funeral Home at Beebe, Ark.
Funeral services, 10 a.m., Thursday, at Searcy Faith Assembly of God, 3319 Hwy. 36, with entombment in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Beebe.
