John B was born in Canada about 1833 based on the births of children from his 1st wife Sarah Louise Barney in St Lawrence Co NY. John died 25 Jan 1908 from his death cert. Dad stated that the dates on the stone came from family memories years after their death when the family had the stone made.

There are numerous documents with his birth date but they all vary by almost 30 years.

Anna Morgan, daughter of William H & Harriet A Fisher Morgan was his 3rd and last wife.

He moved from NY after the Civil War and is 1st found in OH in 1870 census named spelled Kio

His 2nd wife was Hattie C Peck daughter of James E Peck. Hattie died a year after their marriage, as did their daughter Maude J Chio both in 1877
