Dr. Walter J. Aagesen, was from Coulter, IA. He became an ears, nose and throat physician specializing on nose reconstructive surgery after taking his training at the Univ. of Chicago. During WWII he served at Lovell General Hospital. Because of his expertise he was called upon to teach in many medical institutions in the U.S. and abroad. He loved golf and fly fishing. Funeral services were held on January 31, 2005, at the Chapel of Roses, Oak Hill Funeral Home.
