Robert Guyott, "Bob", 81 years of age, passed away January 23, 2013. Bob was born August 11, 1931 to the late James Guyott and Laura Treaster Guyott in Alpena, MI. He leaves behind his girls- adored wife; his three daughters and two sons-in-law. He also leaves behind four stepson and daughters-in-law; his beloved chihuahua, Belle; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; one brother; one sister; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Guyott and Laura Treaster Guyott; three brothers; and two sisters.
The family has the greatest appreciation for the care and compassion shown by all of the health care workers, but most particularly, Dr.'s Brain Picou and Navid Eghbalieh, the hospice workers, and the many friends who help us during this time.
A true military man until the end, Bob handled this past year with dignity and grace with very little complaint. Now he can feel better all over more than any place else. GO! Your troops are waiting for you!!
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the building fund at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Services were under Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA.
