Verona, WI/Stockton, IL - Robert "Joe" Brown, age 80, was taken to his heavenly home on Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Joe was born in Stockton, IL on March 15, 1932 to Scott and Helen (Carroll) Brown. He married the love of his life, Salome J. Hicks on June 16, 1951. Joe worked as a car salesman for 48 years, proudly selling Lincoln-Mercury products for Gordie-Boucher in Madison and Janesville. His love and devotion to faith, family, friends and work was unprecedented. He also enjoyed sports, playing cards, golf, hunting, and living every day with enthusiasm and gratitude. Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Joe is survived by his wife of 61 years; children, Pam (Michael) Grant, Dan (Rachel) Brown, Veronica (Jim) Savoie, Jean Brown (Brad) Ama; grandchildren, Luke and Emma Grant, Collin and Ryan Brown, Elie, Delaney, Mady and Sophie Savoie, Cria and Isaac Ama; Our beloved Joe is further survived by other loving relatives and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eugene (Gene) Carroll Brown; sister, Mary Jeanette (Brown) Waller and niece Carol Waller.
