She was the former wife of the late George H. Aaron. Born in Roselle Park, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Angelina (Martinetta) Bower.
Lena enjoyed the blessing of good health, a sound mind, and a loving family. She has been retired for the past 31 years as Director of Public Welfare in Linden, NJ. Until her 97th year she was the recording secretary of the Business and Professional Women's Association where she had held all the offices including president. Lena was a past secretary to the State Welfare Association of New Jersey, a past treasurer of the Auxiliary of the Heart Association and was active in the Middletown Senior Center.
She is the mother of two daughters, Violet Alose of Middletown, RI, and Shirley Fabrizio-Slavin of Summit, New Jersey, and grandmother of Gary Alose of Houston, TX, Michele Fabrizio of Short Hills, NJ, Gayle Martone of Maplewood, NJ, Thomas Alose of Newport, RI, Sharlene Langner of Maplewood, NJ, Donna Fabrizio of Linden, NJ and Ronald Alose of Portsmouth, RI, ten great grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late O'Neil, Charles, Michael, Joseph and Frank Bower.
