Jay, son of Eugene and Mayzilla Mitchell Cox, and was educated in scholls there.
He had been employed at woolen mills in Wilton and Winthrop and as custodian for the Livermore
Falls Fire Department and Water District.
He is survived by two sons, Frank and Ronald, both of East Liveermore; two daughters, Mrs. Fleater
Smith of East Livermore, Mrs. Mayvilla Lee of Clinton; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
