She was the daughter of Pleasant and Adelia Frances (Crawford) Shoddy and married Thomas L. Leatherwood - 25 Jun 1907 - Lincoln Co. Tennessee. Records, including her obituary, show she was buried at Snoddy Cemetery in Kelso, Tennessee. I suppose her body was moved to Riverview when it started. She died from complications during pregnancy. Fayetteville, Tenn., June 27 -- Mr. Thomas Leatherwood and Miss Jennie Snoddy were married here Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Leatherwood is connected with the firm of S. D. Smith and Company, South Side merchants, and his bride is a popular young lady in society circles, being a recent graduate of the Wilson and Pitts School and the winner of the gold medal offered for the best declamation delivered at the closing exercises of said school. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W. J. Malone in the presence of a limited number of friends.

Mrs. Jennie May Leatherwood died Friday afternoon at 6:45 o'clock at a local infirmary, aged 29 years. She was the wife of T. L. Leatherwood. The remains will be forwarded on train leaving Union Station this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock to Kelso, Tennessee, where services and interment will take place Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.

Mrs. Jennie Snoddy, aged about 30 years, and wife of Thomas Leatherwood, died in a hospital at Nashville at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 18th, 1916. The remains were taken to Kelso for burial and interred at the Snoddy graveyard.
