Services for Bob Kash Arnett Sr. will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at
Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God, Alger, by Pastor Bob Dye. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery,
Alger.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, and one
hour prior to the service at the church Wednesday.
He died at 4:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006 at
Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
He was born April 17, 1917, in Salyersville, Ky., to Sam and Nan
(Salyers) Arnett. On Oct. 10, 1935, he married Nellie Risner and she preceded him in death on April 17,
1960. He then married Clara E. Rowe Fields and she died. He later married Katie Shepherd on Oct. 20,
1982 and she preceded him in death on July 28, 2005.
Surviving are four sons, Elwood (Nancy)

Arnett and Donald (Ethel) Arnett, both of Alger and Richard (Julie) Arnett and Bob Kash (DeAnna)
Arnett Jr., both of Harrod; two stepsons, Ray Fields of Pennsylvania and Edward Ray (Charlotte)
Shepherd of Alger; six stepdaughters, Patty Myer of Lima, Lois (Robert) May of Columbus, Lorrene
(Ron) Waddle of Roundhead, Lodena Joseph and Brenda (Eugene) Pitts, both of Maumee and Wanda
(Robert) Bratton of Genoa; 15 grandchildren, 37 step-grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 66 step-
great-grandchildren and five step-great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a
daughter, Ollie Arnett; a grandson; two sisters, Ethel Pugh and Eunice Arnett and five brothers, Green,
Troy, Branch, Willie and Elliott Arnett.
He worked for Ohio Steel Company in Lima mostly as a truck
driver.
