She was born on November 6, 1942 in San Jose, California and had lived in Cheyenne since 1969.
Lila received her Bachelor's Degree in industrial design and had worked for Gater Industries, AMF-Wyott, and in Colorado at Hydrogen. She was also a member of the Model A Club of Northern Colorado and the Model T Club of Northern Colorado.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband Richard "Dick" Smith, whom she married on November 16, 1968 in Reno, Nevada; a son, Garett Smith (Debbie) of Fort Ashby, West Virginia; a brother, Fred Bank (Pam) of North Carolina; a sister, Lynn Acord (David) of Encampment, Wy; and two grandchildren, Haley and Everett Smith, both of Ft. Ashby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Eleanor (LaPlace) Bank.
