Ivan Abbott
Ivan Abbott, 60, 1163 Lincoln, died Sunday at the Memorial Hospital, Emporia, following a heart attack.
He was born Feb. 23, 1904, at Eskridge. A carman at the Santa Fe Shops, Mr. Abbott was a resident of Topeka for 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dollie Abbott of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Phelps, Topeka; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Charles Douglas, 1204 Lawrence; a brother, Sylvester Abbott, Eskridge; eight grandchildren; and several nieces.
Services are pending. Gaines and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
