Abraham Larimore married Mary Davis and moved to Callaway County, Missouri from Madison County, Kentucky.

He arrived in Callaway in 1835. There are no birth or death dates. In 1840 he bought Short Horn Cattle into the county from the area around Bunchton, Missouri. Durham cattle was thought to improve the breed of native cattle. o
