James was the only locksmith for Scott and White Hospital and had retired in 1996. He loved his beloved horses Casey, Sugar and Stormy. He was President and Drill Captain for the Bell County Sheriffs Posse mounted drill team. He was seen throughout the state of Texas on his paint horse "Casey" leading the drill team.
