They had 6 children, James b. 1850, Nancy b. 1854, Benjamin b. 1854, Joseph b. 1855, Robert b. 1858, Sarah b. 1863, Cynthia b. 1869.
Both William's and Elizabeth's parents were born in NC. William fought in the Civil War for VA, Company K, 51st Regt.
The family eventually settled in Bath KY.
