Jean B. Gadd, 65, of Day Street, Corbin, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008 at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.

She was born to the late Dino and Catherine Lowiska Burnett Nov. 19, 1942, in Woonsocket, R.I. She retired as co-manager of Wal-Mart in October 2005.

Preceding her in death were her husband Atlee B. Gadd; son Bryan Gadd; and grandson Jacob Gadd.

Surviving are her children Sheryllyn Baker and husband James, of London, Ronald B. Gadd and wife Kathryn, of Jacksonville, Fla.; her sister Patricia Degre and husband Roger, of Bellingham, Mass.; her brother Paul Brunetti and wife Paulette, of Bellingham, Mass; and three grandchildren Matthew Baker, of London, and Dakota Gadd and Corbin Gadd, both of Jacksonville, Fla.

Visitation was conducted from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, at St. William Catholic Church. Funeral services followed at the church at 4 p.m.
