Sallie Wyatt Bibb Barnett was the daughter of Joseph and Dorothy Peyton Smith Wyatt, granddaughter of Henry and Elizabeth Dandridge Wyatt, and a descendant of Haute Wyatt of Allington Castle, Kent, England. Her full given name may have been Sarah Smith Wyatt. Her children were: Gov William Wyatt Bibb (Memorial #10634663), Gov. Thomas Bibb (Memorial #7418818), Rev. Peyton Bibb, Delia Bibb Pope, John Dandridge Bibb, Esq., Joseph Wyatt Bibb, MD, Martha Bibb Freeman (Memorial #92446704), and Judge Benajah Smith Bibb (Memorial #8285403).

Sallie's grandmother, Elizabeth Dandridge was a sister of Col. John Dandridge, who married Frances Orlando Jones and begat First Lady Martha Dandridge Washington.

Sallie's place of burial is not known, but likely at her home in Robinson Springs AL.

From Contributor #48249658: Hawte Wyatt was the great grandson of Sir Thomas Wyatt, the English poet and friend of Henry VIII. Hawte was also the grandson of Thomas Wyatt the younger, who was executed by Queen Mary, as a result of Wyatt's Rebellion in 1554.
