Vivian Jeanette Carter Cox Williams, 75, of 103 School St., Apt. #117, wife of Yankee Williams of Salley, S.C., died Monday, March 7, 2005, at Allen Bennett Hospital.

Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Burman Brisco Carter and Edna Elizabeth Burdette. Mrs. Williams was a wife, homemaker, former employee of Belk's in Easley and an attendee of Praise Cathedral in Greer.

Surviving are a son and two daughters-in-law, Charles B. Cox Jr. and Tambra of Greer, and Nancy Mae Keenan Cox of Easley; a sister, Patricia Ann Hicks of Greer; a brother-in-law, Theo Cox of Seneca; three sisters-in-law, Dot Cox, Lib Cox and Mildred King, all of Seneca; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Williams is predeceased by two sons, Dennis Michael Cox and Richard Wayne Cox Sr.; a daughter, Pamela Jean Cox Shaw; and her first husband, Charles Baylus Cox Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Madden of Praise Cathedral and the Rev. Benny Williams of Cordova, S.C., officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens, S.C.

The family is at the residence of her son.
