Burial will be in the Texhoma Cemetery under the direction of
the Dawson-Welch Funeral Home. She was born in Moody, Mo. May 22, 1893. She came to the Texhoma area in 1912 from Missouri. She was married Roy Brunton in Texhoma Nov. 11, 1914. He preceded her in death in 1928. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Texhoma. She worked in the post office in Texhoma from 1940 to i960. She had been a resident of the Coldwater Manor in Stratford for several years. Survivors include two daughters, Doris Meyer of Texhoma; Louise Berggren of Canyon Tex.; two sons, Buddy Brunton of Amarillo, Jimmie Brunton of Amarillo; one brother, Ansel Preston of Texhoma; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. One son, one brother and one sister preceded her in death. The family requests memorials be given to the Texhoma Cemetery. Memorials will be accepted at the funeral home.
