BOSSIER CITY, LA - Funeral Services for Linda Susan Barcelona, 61, will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Father Joseph C. Ampatt.

Linda was born May 8, 1950 and passed away July 9, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Linda was a member of Barksdale Air Force Base Catholic Chapel where she served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister. For many years Linda served as a volunteer for numerous church functions.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Matthew Joseph Barcelona, Sr.; her brothers, Colin Barcelona and Vincent Barcelona. She is survived by her mother, Sheila Richardson Barcelona; brothers, Matt Barcelona, Jim Barcelona, Mark Barcelona and wife Debbie; sisters, Vickie Wright and husband Doug, Terri Creamer and husband Dennis; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice and their many loving nurses and sitters who cared so tenderly for Linda. Special thanks to Kathleen and Seleta who, over the years became like family. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of one's choice.
