Mabel Elzena Hamilton, 72 of Daybrook died Monday, Nov 23, 1992 at Fairmont General Hospital. She was born Jan 20, 1920 in Daybrook, a daughter of John L. and Georgia Sine Tennant. She was a member of Daybrook Church of Christ. She was also associated with Daybrook Home makers Association, formerly the Fox hunters Club. She is survived by her husband, Herbert W. Hamilton, one son, Herbert E. Hamilton, one daughter, Nancy Lou Dillie of Daybrook, two brothers, Joe "Enoch" and Richard Martin Tennant both of Daybrook, two sisters, Ella Mae Hamilton of Jakes Run and Ida Louise Day of Wadestown, nine grandchildren and several great grand children. She was preceded in death by two sons, Johnnie Dee Hamilton and Bobby Jow Hamilton, eight brothers and three sisters. Friends may call at Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, from 7-9 P.M. Wednesday and Thursday. Services will be at 1 P.M. Friday, Nov 27, at Daybrook Church of Christ with Evangelist Max Bouillet officiating. Burial will be in Tennant Cemetery, Daybrook.
