He was a brother to the Melissa Bucknam who is buried in the next grave. Stephen's wife was Sarah Darling and they had three children. (Daughter Eve is also buried in this cemetery.) He is cited as a living in St. Joseph Co., MI in the 1865 "List of Heirs to the Estate of Michael A. Francisco", which led to the probating of his will. Stephen's mother, Mary Wager, was the daughter of Ephraim and Cornelia (Francisco) Wager. Cornelia Francisco was a sister to Michael A. Francisco. Both were children of Abraham and and Hester (VanDerCook) Francisco.
