---Funeral services for Mack Roy Buck, 84, of Rt. 1, Kirksville, will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon (September 26, 1981) in Hudson-Rimer Park View Chapel, Kirksville. The Rev. Hobert Youngblood of Kirksville will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Park View Memorial Gardens, Kirksville with military rites at the graveside by VFW Post No. 2508 and MacDougall-Lowe Post No. 20 of Kirksville.
---Mr. Buck died Thursday morning (September 24, 1981) in a Kirksville hospital.
---Born February 23, 1897 in LaPlata, he was the son of Henry and Rena Bragg Buck. On August 29, 1920 in Checotah, Oklahoma, he married Willie Bell Cusick who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Charles Buck of Rt. 3, Kirksville, Donald Buck of Columbia, S.C., and Lee Roy Buck of Canton; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Ethel Bell) Fogelman of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Mrs. Cliff (Fern) Medford of Keifer, Okla.; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
---He was preceded in death by one son, Arthur Buck in 1935 and two brothers.
---Mr. Buck spent most of his life in north Missouri where he was engaged in farming. For seven years he resided in Phoenix, Ariz., before moving to rural Kirksville in July.
---During World War II, Mr. Buck served with the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
---He was a member of the Shelbina American Legion.
---Bearers will be: Haskell Johnson, Bill Tennyson, Tom Pearce, Roscoe Wright, Carrol Findling and Floyd Ellsworth.
