Josephine was born in Camp Township, Renville County. Minnesota. to Hans Asak Jensen and Sorine Tveter Gulbandsdatter both natives of Norway from the Asak and Tveter farms resectively. At age 24 she moved with her parents to Grantsburg, Burnett County, Wisconsin. She married Johnny Jacobson there June 1, 1903. Following a short time in South Dakota they returned to the Jacobson farm in Camp Township where their seven children were born and raised. Josephine and Johnny lived on the farm the rest of their lives. Josephine died December 21, 1947.
