Mrs. Barbara Allen Swann Norman, age 72, of Villa Rica, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia . She was born January 7, 1941 in Carroll County, the daughter of the late Mr. Allen Gus Swann and the late Mrs. Nannie Faye Cook Swann. She retired from Carroll County School Nutrition Service at Villa Rica High School after thirteen years of service.
She loved her family and loved to cook for them. She was a great cook. She liked to work in her flowers, she could grow anything.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dorsey Gus Swann and sister, Ann Swann Hannah.

She is survived by her husband, Kirby Norman of Villa Rica; sons and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Tangie Norman of Villa Rica, Randy Norman of Villa Rica; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gaynell and Robert Tolbert of Temple, Helen and Robert Willoughby of Villa Rica, Carolyn and Ralph Moore of Villa Rica; brother-in-law, Donald Hannah of Villa Rica; sister-in-law, Kathy Shead Swann of Dallas; grandchildren, Brantley Norman and Tangela Norman of Villa Rica; great-granddaughter, Jayley Norman and one great-granddaughter due in May. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
