Curtis C. Anderson (68) passed away on Jan. 23, 2012 in Ione, WA. Curtis (Butch) was born on April 18, 1943 in Kansas City, Kansas, and retired from the Navy in 1973. He is survived by his wife Phyllis Anderson, and children; Franklin, Mildred, and Phil all of Ione, WA. He also had 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He lived for snowmobiling, hunting and fishing, and loved being on his computer when he wasn't out riding his sled. He was a great mechanic, and an even greater father, a funny person, had many friends and will be sorely missed. Memorial Services will be held at the Ione Baptist Church in Ione Washington, February 4 2012, at 11:00 AM. There will also be an Honor Guard Ceremony during the Memorial Service and a potluck dinner afterwards held at the Ione Senior Citizens Center, please bring a dish. Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home in Newport is in charge of arrangements.
