Ada Ellen Weir of 215 West Eleventh Street, died at the Wabash General Hospital Wednesday June 20, 1956 at 5:45 p.m., after an illnes of a year. She was a native of English, Ind., where she was born Sept. 7, 1094, daughter of Thomas and Clara Goodson Lowe. Her age was 51 years, 9 months and 13 days.
Serviving are her husband, Walter Weir, her mother; four children, Robert Weir, William Weir, Mrs. Jeanne Gray and Carolyn Weir, all of Mount Carmel, and two brothers and two sisters, George Noble Lowe, James Lowe, Mrs. Bessie Andrews and Mrs. Dessie Peach, all of Mount Carmel; also four grand-children.
Preceding her in death were an infant daughter, Linda and her father Thomas Lowe.
She was a member of the First Church of God, where services were held on June 24, 1956 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev D. C. Stafford and Rev. Huston Bever, Sr. officiating.
