Mrs. Elizabeth Dovenbarger Answers Sudden Summons
Had Not Been in Good Health But Death Was Unexpected
The death of Mrs. Elizabeth Dovenbarger of No. 812 Hall Avenue occurred at the family residence yesterday evening at 5:15 o'clock, being caused by a sudden severe attack of heart disease. Mrs. Dovenbarger was sitting at the supper table when the attack came and fell from her chair to the floor. Relatives ran to her assistance and lifted her to a bed. Before much could be done for her, however, she had expired. Mrs. Dovenbarger was the wife of James Dovenbarger, and was well known and highly respected in the community in which she lived. She had not been well for several months, and last evening's sudden attack was the culmination of her illness. The following children are left to mourn: Mrs. Jacob Scott of Hoskinsville, James, Riley, Benjamin and Florence E. of the home. The funeral will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning from the residence, Rev. Mr. Warner of the Clover Street Free Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be made in the Brush Creek Cemetery.
