Henry Barney was 77 years old when he passed away on Sunday, December 29th, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Henry was born in Kansas City, Kansas, and lived in the area all his life. He had worked as a filter operator for the Kansas City Water Department before he retired in 1963 after 35 years of service.
Henry lived with his wife, Pearl, at 6608 East 129th in Grandview. He was survived by Pearl; his son, Henry Charles Lubke, of Belton; his daughter, Betty Yeo, of Grandview; his sister, Katherine Walborn, of Kansas City; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Newcomer Brush Creek Chapel followed by burial in Green Lawn Cemetery.
