Ambrose Michael Budzynski, age 84, Hatley, died Sunday, April 15, 2001 under care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services, Wausau Hospital. He was born September 29, 1916 in Arnott, WI, the son of the late Ignatius and Mary (Karch) Budzynski. On October 27, 1945 Ambrose was united in marriage to Evelyn Basinski. She survives. Ambrose was a WWII Veteran serving in the US Army Air Corps. In addition to his wife, survivors include three daughters, Dianne (Nick) Somers, Stevens Point, Cheryl Budzynski, Wausau and Jane (James) Jerzak, Green Bay; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Balbina Presl, Tigerton and Maxine (Hank) Stypa, Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Stanley, Ben & Joe and four sisters Eulalia, Anna , Regina and Elizabeth . Funeral services were held April 19, 2001 at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. The Rev. Thomas Abraham, the Rev. Chester Osowski and the Rev. Robert Streveler officiated. Entombment was in Restlawn Cemetery, Wausau.
