Frank Harrison Thurmer - age 87 of Lenoir City passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at his home. Frank was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in W. W. II and retired from Carrier. Preceded in death by his wives, Rachel Jenkins Thurmer and Joyce Ballew Thurmer; parents, Frank and Julia Thurmer; sisters, Viola Holloway and Bessie Smith, and brothers, Charles Thurmer and John Kirby. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Tom Lewis; grandchildren, Chris and Aaron Lewis; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Margaret and J. C. Pellom. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Martel Methodist Church Cemetery for graveside services with Rev. Phillip Martin officiating. Full military honors will be conferred by the Loudon Co. Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
