He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Gelles; a daughter, Glenda Lynn (Gelles) Sims; son-in-law, Scott Simms; and grandsons, Christopher Robert Sims and Benjamin Griffin Sims.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6:00- 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home with Pastor David Minnick officiating.
Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
