Jerry Dean Nixon, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, JAN. 30, 2013 AT HOME. he was 75 years old.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at HOLTS memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at First United Methodist Church.The Rev. Mitchell Rains and Pastor John Darnall will Officiate.
Burial will be at the Auman Cemetery.

Pallbears will be Joe Don Martin, Lynn Sisco, Bill Albright, David Witty, Scott Tye, Heath Tye, and Arch Ryan.
Honorary pallbears include Bill and Darrell Henson, James Boren. Bill Frank Boren, Jitter Estes, Fellowship Class at United Methodist Church, Harrison High School Class of 1955
and the Old Time Goblins.

The son of John Conard and Mattie Idella
(Albright) Nixon was born on May 16, 1937,
at Harrison.

Jerry was A member of Bear Creek Springs Baptist Church and also attended First United Methodist Church where he was A
member of the Fellowship Class. A graduate of Harrison High School, he also belonged to the Old Time Goblins.

Before his retirement, he worked in many positions at the Duncan Company and also served in the Army National Guards for 25 years.

His parents, A brother, John David Nixon: and A sister, Hazel Ryan, preceded him in death.

Shirvivors include his Wife, Barbara Ann (tye) Nixon: A son and his wife, John and Natalie Nixon: two granddaughters, Aleana and Amanda Nixon: two nieces, Betsy Watson and Patsy McBee: A nephew, Arch Ryan: and a step-sister-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Nixon.
