Carol L. Wahl, age 64, of Red Cloud, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the Webster County Community Hospital in Red Cloud.
The daughter of Caroline (Lattimer) and Lawrence Patterson, Carol was born November 26, 1945, at Smith Center, Kansas. Carol grew up in the Inavale community and received her formal education attending the Inavale school.
A lifelong resident of Webster county, Carol worked at Ely's Service for a period of time and then for a number of years, she worked with Leonard Herrick breaking horses. Carol was with the Webster County Sheriff's office as a dispatcher. Most recently, she was employed as a cook with the Palace Restaurant in Red Cloud.
Surviving are two sons: Larry Patterson of Hill City, Kansas and Steven Wahl of California; one granddaughter; a brother: Lawrence K. (Sharyl) Patterson of Seward, Nebraska; a sister-in-law: Gisela Patterson of Hastings; numberous nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
