YOUNGEST SON of Furman Ezra Fulmer and Mary Evelyn Frick Fulmer
Died at age 15 from complications resulting from acute lymphoma.
Very gifted drummer.

Prosperity -- Steve Randy Fulmer, 15, died Thursday night, October 3, 1968, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of the Macedonia section of Newberry County and was the youngest child of Furman E. and Mary Frick Fulmer of Rt. 1, Prosperity. He was a drummer in the Mid-Carolina High School Band and lifelong member of Macedonia Lutheran Church.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Furman Edward Fulmer of Columbia; five sisters, Carolyn Garner of Belvedere, Jewel Oxner of Newberry, Sandra Metts and Janette Cain of West Columbia and Faye Cannon of Chapin; and a grandmother, Bessie Frick of Chapin and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Melvin Ray Fulmer; his maternal grandfather, Lester Frick; and his paternal grandparents, Berley and Ola Fulmer.
Christian services: 5:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 1968, in Macedonia Lutheran Church, officiated by the Rev. Fletcher A. Rice. Interment in the church cemetery overlooking Lake Murray.
Pallbearers: Roger Long, Eddie Fulmer, Chris Olsen, Kenneth Stockman, Steve Stockman, and James Torrence.
The body was taken to the home on Saturday morning, to lie in state beside his beloved drums, before being placed in the church at 4:00 p.m.
