For many years the grave markers for William J. Perry and his wife, Sarah Moake Perry rested under a mimosa tree beside the road about 3 miles south of Marion, Illinois. On our last visit to Marion, Helen Lind, of the Williamson County Historical Society told us that the stones have now disappeared. We saw in cemetery records that one of their daughters' (Esther Perry Robertson) grave had also been in that family burial place. (Missourigal)
