She moved to Hubbard in 1926, where she was a homemaker and a cook for Hubbard and North Marion schools for 20 years. She moved to Woodburn 14 years ago. She enjoyed traveling, sewing and needlework. She married Arthur in 1935; he died in 1996. A daughter preceded her in death. Survivors include her son, Arthur Jr. of Boring; daughter, Geraldine Merrill of Woodburn; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial services for Marion and her daughter Joan Zehner Baker, who died last Wednesday, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cornwell Colonial Chapel. Private interment will be at Hubbard Cemetery.
