Blencoe - Henry T. Blencoe, 80, 179 Corliss Ave., Johnson City, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday at his home. He was a past district deputy grand master of the odd Fellows. He joined the IOOF Golden Sceptre Lodge 693 in 1905 and was its past noble grand. he was a member and past chief of the Johnson City Encampment 61 and was a high priest of the Encampment Branch. He was also a member of the Johnson City Altruris Rebekah Lodge 139 and was president of the Franternal Association for about 13 years. Mr. Blencoe was a member of the Sarah Jane Johnson memorial Methodist church and was treasurer of the Men's Oxford Class for over 30 years. He belonged to the Endicott Johnson 30 year club. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Whitney, Johnson City; three sisters, Mrs. mina Hancock, Anoka, Minn., Mrs. Celia Moore, Schenevus and mrs. Albert hoagland, Hancock; a granddaughter, Mrs. Louis (Joy) Wheeler, Owego; a great-granddaughter, Nancy Lou Wheeler, Owego and several nieces and nephews. Funeral and committal services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the ivan A. Barber & Son Funeral Home, 48 Main St., Johnson City. The Rev. Roswell W. Lyon, D.D., pastor of Sarah Jane Johnson memorial Methodist Church, will officiate. burial will be in Vestal Hills memorial Park at theconvenience of the family. The IOOF Golden Sceptre Lodge 693 will hold ritualisitic services at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 8. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening and Wednesday evening from 7 to 9.
