*Grandpa*, by Kirsten Lyons

Your wisdom guided me...
Gave me the eyes to see,
Your assurance strengthened me...
Gave me the will to succeed.
You could look into my heart...
And find the best in me,
And when my heart was full of doubt...
Your words of hope relieved me.
Through the many stages of my life...
Your presence was a constancy,
And as I embark upon many more...
You will always be a part of me.

I love you Grandpa.
