Burnadette Sephronie Moran was born on March 10, 1913, in Belle Prairie Township, Morrison County, MN, to the late David C. and Sephronie (Guertin) Moran. She resided in the Little Falls area until the age of 23 where she received her education, graduating from Little Falls High School in 1932. She was united in marriage to Fredrick J. Tharp on November 16, 1940, in Westwood, CA. Being a military wife, Burnadette and her husband lived in many different states including Alaska, Hawaii, Texas, North Dakota, South Dakota and California. The couple later divorced. While in California, she worked at the Napa State Hospital for 21 years. Burnadette returned to Little Falls in 1996 and became a resident of St. Otto's Care Center where she resided at the time of her death.
Survivors include her sister, Sylvia Bentler of Little Falls, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ovid and Dewy Moran, and sisters Ella Moran, Sadie Enlund and Viola Geyer.
