Gregory Earl Rice, 44, died suddenly and unexpectedly Sunday, February 3, 2013, at his home in Washington, Pa., following a heart attack.

He was born March 13, 1968, in Wheeling, W.Va., adopted son of Beulah Shreve Rice of New Cumberland, W.Va., and the late Herbert Earl Rice.

A 1986 graduate of Oak Glen High School in New Cumberland, W. Va., Greg held a degree in both heating and air conditioning, and diesel mechanic. He was a member of Church of Christ in Chester, W.Va. and was the regional service director at O.S. Hill in East Liverpool, Ohio.

Greg enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, kayaking and anything outdoors. He was a member of The National Rifle Association and the Rugged Grouse Society.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his two beloved sons, Austin Gregory Rice & Nicholas Scott Rice, who live with their mother, Penny Nease Rice in East Liverpool, Ohio; a fiance', Jennifer Hatfield Maloy, & her son, Joseph Maloy, with whom he resided; a brother, Mark Riter, of Middlebourne, West Virginia; sister, Dana Brookover of Washington, Indiana; as well as several cousins, nieces, & nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. with Danny Hayes officiating.

Graveside service will be held Friday, February 8, 2013, at 12 p.m. in Spring Hill Cemetery, Joseph Mills, Tyler County, West Virginia. Friends & Family will meet at the entrance to the cemetery.
