Found in The State 19 October 1950: Word has been received here by Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Nealy, 19, in Korea on October 13. Private Nealy was in Field artillery Battery 37. The young man had been in the army for 22 months. He was sent to Korea on August 4, and was wounded soon thereafter near the Naktong river. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Nealy of Columbia, two sisters, Mrs. Ora Goff of Columbia and Miss Ann Nealy of Columbia, and a brother, Olin Nealy of Columbia.
