She was also known for many years as Florence Walsh and co-owned and managed Holiday Trailer Sales in Woodbridge, NJ.

She married Percy Ballentine in 1939 and divorced in 1946. In the 1940 Census, they were living separately. He was away in the US Army for most of their marriage. She resumed using Ballentine as her name late in life.

Her life and business partner Edward Walsh died in 1985.

She was devoted to her siblings, their children, and her step-children.

Her grave is unmarked.

One niece recently told another niece that Aunt Flo said that she wanted to be buried in the family plot at Evergreen Cemetery in Basking Ridge with her sisters. She was not. She was buried here by her step-sons.
