MRS. MINNIE ADAMS:

Mrs. Minnie Adams of Rimbey, Alberta, passed away at the Rimbey General Hospital on June 11, 1966, at the age of 77 years. The late Mrs. Adams was born in Northfield, Wisconsin, on March 21, 1889, and came to Alberta in 1904. In 1916 she moved to the Rimbey district, where she has since resided.

She is survived by her loving husband, David, three daughters, Mrs. N. (Allie) Morris of Bentley, Mrs. I. (Mildred) Riley of Lacombe, Mrs. H. (Beatrice) Giesbrecht of Calgary; two sons Ivan of Lake Wabamun and Pat of Edmonton; two brothers, Richard and Magnus Lund of Lancaster, California; one sister Louise Brevick of Temple City, California. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons: John in 1960 and Walter in 1966.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Minnie Adams were held from the Rimbey United Church on Monday, June 13, 1966, at 3:30 p.m., with the Rev. A. Skinner officiating. Interment followed in the Mount Auburn Cemetery at Rimbey, with Eventide Funeral Chapel of Lacombe in charge of arrangemtns.

Pallbearers were Elmer Olson, Carl Stuart, Norman Gillund, Arthur Schell, Elmer Gillund and George Grinde.

There are 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, John in 1960 and Walter in 1966. Funeral services will be held from the Rimbey United Church on Monday, June 13, 1966 at 3:30 p.m. with the Reverend A. Skinner of Rimbey officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Auburn cemetery in Rimbey. If desired, donations may be made to the United Church Memorial Fund at Rimbey. Eventide Chapel of Lacombe is in charge of arrangements.
