Audron Irene Griffith, 55, of 2536 W. 3rd St., Owensboro, died Friday, October 3, 1997, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born in Daviess County, was a homemaker and was a member of Christ Gospel Church International. Survivors include her husband, Darryl Griffith; 2 sons, Charles “Jackie” Phillips and Darryl Wayne Griffith Jr., both of Owensboro; 3 daughters, Robin Simmons, Cheryl Hunter and Julie Embry, all of Owensboro; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers, Herbert L. Webster, David Earl Webster and George Robert Webster, all of Owensboro, Edward Gene Webster of Sierra Vista, AZ, and Franklin Webster of Greenville, IN; and a sister, Carolyn Carter of Owensboro. Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at James H. Davis Memorial Chapel in Owensboro. Entombment will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
