Harry Joshua Weller Jr., the youngest son born to Harry H. Weller and Marietta Elizabeth Coffing, had seven brothers and sisters, Mildred Marie (Zimmerman), Ruth Elizabeth (Guyer), Bernice Irene (Zartman Pass Shelton), Helen Leah (Talbott Irvine), Alice Loreen (Nickell), Ida May (Heckathorn), and John H. Robert.

He married Evelyn Marie McMasters, 29 Apr 1939, in Grant Co., IN. They had Ronald Lee and Linda Darlene (Hoke). Next, Harry married Marjorie J. Maggard, 4 July 1964, Grant Co., IN. He was a Grant Co. Sheriff's Deputy for 23 years and managed the Moore's Store in Marion, Grant Co., IN.

Harry J. Weller, 60, 1902 Valley Avenue, Marion, died at 9 a.m. Monday at his home. Grant county Coroner David Devine ruled the death a suicide by hanging. Mr. Weller, a Grant County Sheriff's Deputy for 23 years, was the former manager of Moore's, Inc., Marion. He was a member of the Martin Boots Lodge No. 79 F.O.P, Marion, the Grant Lodge No. 637 F & AM, Swayzee, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Fort Wayne.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie: a daughter; Mrs. Glen (Linda) Hoke, Marion: a son Ron, Sumner, Illinois; Four sisters, Mrs. Bernice Shelton, Mrs. Loreen Nickell and Mrs. Helen Irving, all of Rochester, and Mildred Zimmerman, Peru; a brother, John, Elmyra, Ohio; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Devine Colonial Mortuary, 901 N. Western Ave., Marion, with Norman Midgette officiating. Entombment will be in the Gardens of Memory Mausoleum, Huntington County. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where Masonic rites will be at held 8 p.m. today.
