Emil O. Bratrud, 90, of 5819 Wildaire Road SW., father of Omar Bratrud, member of the Metropolitan Park Board, died Sunday in a local nursing home. He was born in Minnesota and had lived in Tacoma for 48 years.
Mr Bratrud was a retired real estate and insurance broker. He was a member of the Mason Methodist Church, the Tacoma Board of Realtors and Tacoma Elks Lodge 174.
Survivors include two sons, Omar and Louis D., both of Tacoma; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Garrett, of Tacoma, and Mrs. William Aldorfer, of Dixon, Ill.; a brother, Dr. Edward Bratrud, of Alexandria, Minn.; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be announced by Tuell Funeral Home.
