During his life John Edward bravely served his country during World War II in U.S. Army campaigns across Italy and Germany, earning the EAME Medal (5 bronze stars) and the World War II Victory Medal.
After serving his country John wed the love of his life Marine Johnson in December of 1945. To their happy union was born 7 children.
John departed his earthly body on January 19, 2013. He leaves to mourn his loss and celebrate his life his children: Clarence Irvin, Joyce Marie, Carol Jean (Kitty), James Edward, Lawrence Edward, John Edward, Jr.(Red) and Margrett Fay; sister: Evola Adams Julks. God blessed John Edward and Marine Adams with a happy home in Point Blank, Texas, with over 80 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends. Marine preceded JOhn in death on July 4, 2001.
