She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Gloucester City. She worked for the U. S. Postal Service as a legal secretary in the Bellmawr, NJ Branch. Mary Deleores was a frequest and concerned letter writer to the Courier Post Newspapers and the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper.
